Police say a 12-year-old boy and 18-year-old woman were both shot just after 9:30 p.m.

THE BRONX - A double shooting on College Avenue last night sent two young people to the hospital.

Police say a 12-year-old boy and 18-year-old woman were both shot just after 9:30 p.m. Neighbors say they were coming from the playground down the street.

According to officials, the boy was grazed by a bullet in his ankle and was taken to Lincoln Hospital. The woman was shot in the leg and is at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Officials say both of them will recover.

Police have not made any arrests, but a building superintendent tells News 12 there is surveillance video and that police will be picking it up today.
