Ruben Diaz Jr. says he wants to represent The Bronx for another four years.

THE BRONX - Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. wants to represent The Bronx for another four years.

Diaz issued a statement officially announcing his re-election bid for 2013 after contemplating a run for the public advocate's office.

"The needs of the people of The Bronx are foremost on my mind and in my heart," Diaz said. He has held the office since 2009.
