KINGSBRIDGE - Pepper spray was released at a Bronx magnet school today and required nearly 20 students to receive medical treatment.

Department of Education officials say a student at IN-Tech Academy released the spray shortly before noon Tuesday. Officials say 18 people required treatment, with 13 being taken to Montefiore Medical Center and the other five being treated outside the school.

Parents were shocked by the incident.

The suspect's identity is currently unknown, but school officials are sorting through security cameras to help identify the person.
