FDNY adds 9 members' names to 9/11 memorial

(09/07/12) THE BRONX - Fallen members of the FDNY were honored yesterday at the World Trade Center Memorial.

The FDNY added nine names of firefighters who died from illnesses related to Sept. 11 to the memorial wall. The families of the victims placed flowers along the wall at the FDNY headquarters in downtown Brooklyn.

The World Trade Center Memorial wall was unveiled in Sept. 2011 and lists the names of 55 FDNY members.
