THE BRONX - Students from P.S. 69 are celebrating football through the "One World" diversity program. 

The students traveled from their school to the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, where they met with their pen pals from New Jersey for the first time on Monday. 

The NFL program was started after Sept. 11 to teach kids about stereotyping. It aims to connect communities, cultures and classrooms. 

The students took part in workshops, learned about the law of motion in sports and the importance of exercise, and met players from the New York Giants.
