Judge denies lower bail for Nesean Bonie, accused in 2012 murder of Bronx tenant Ramona Moore
A judge in the Bronx has denied a request to lower the bail of a man accused in the 2012 murder of his tenant.
Nesean Bonie is accused in the murder of Ramona Moore. Police say Moore has been missing since July 2012. Prosecutors believe Bonie killed Moore over a rent dispute.
Bonie's lawyer Justin Levin says prosecutors have no physical evidence linking him to Moore's disappearance and says the case against Bonie is circumstantial. Levin wanted Bonie's bail reduced from $500,000 to $50,000.
Bonie is due back in court on Dec. 10.
