Anthony Carlo

Anthony Carlo joined the News 12 The Bronx news team in February, 2016. Anthony was born and raised in Yonkers, just a hop, skip and jump away from the Bronx. His parents grew up Bronxites, so he's been accustomed to frequently visiting the borough for Arthur Avenue's famous Italian restaurants, before reporting here.

Prior to working at News 12, Anthony was out in the field covering stories in Queens and Staten Island for NY1 as an MMJ News Assistant. He covered a triple murder at a Staten Island hotel and the race for Staten Island's District Attorney.

Anthony graduated from Iona College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication. While in school, Anthony held internships at CBS Sports, CBS News, SNY, and FiOS1 News. He was also an anchor/reporter for a public access channel called LMC-TV. It was there that he won an award for "Best News Package." Anthony also won "The Warner Wolf Award for Best TV Sports Reporting" while at Iona. Working alongside icons like Charles Osgood, Jane Pauley and Scott Pelley, Anthony strove to gain as much experience as he could.

In his spare time Anthony enjoys exercising and watching Yankees baseball. He also loves spending time with his family and girlfriend, and is a big fan of the 'Rocky' movies.
