THE BRONX - At least one person was arrested this morning as school bus protests got out of hand in The Bronx.

Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1181 are accused of forming a long picket line to try and stop non-striking drivers from leaving the Zerega Avenue bus yard in Castle Hill. Officials say one man was taken into custody after he laid in front of a moving bus.

Police reinforcements arrived and barricaded the protesters, eventually allowing drivers in unions that aren't participating in the strike to head to work.
