THE BRONX - At least one person was hurt after a multicar collision in Williamsbridge.

It happened on East 221st Street and Barnes Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

A viewer photo shows the chaotic scene and the Lexus involved partially on top of a black BMW.

A neighbor says the black BMW was speeding down Barnes Avenue when the driver blew a stop sign and crashed into the Lexus.

Residents say there have been numerous accidents ever since the sidewalk was widened and the stop sign was moved. They say a red light or another stop sign is needed at the intersection.

The injured person was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, but their condition is not known.
