THE BRONX - One person was killed yesterday following a three-car pileup on the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Investigators say a Sedan was exiting the eastbound side of the roadway at around 4 p.m. when it rear-ended another vehicle while it sat at a red light. The car at the light then hit a third car.

The driver that started the chain reaction was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. Another driver suffered minor injuries.

Police say they don't suspect any criminality and no one has been charged.
