Police say one person was killed in a hit-and-run early this morning while walking along the Cross Bronx Expressway.Police say a 59-year-old man was found

THE BRONX - Police say one person was killed in a hit-and-run early this morning while walking along the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Police say a 59-year-old man was found unconscious with severe trauma to his body on the westbound lanes of the expressway. EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Police say the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
