1 shot at Bronx barber shop

THE BRONX - One person was shot inside the Razor Blaze barber shop on East 167th Street and Washington Avenue yesterday evening.

The unidentified victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where his condition is unknown.

It is not known if any arrests have been made yet.

In the wake of this weekend's violence, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. condemned the violence and urged residents to report illegal guns and get them off the streets. To report illegal guns, people are asked to 1-866-GUN-STOP.

Anyone with information on the barber shop shooting are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
