THE BRONX - The FBI has taken 10 alleged Bronx gang members into custody in connection with a violent drug trafficking ring.

The gang allegedly operated on Devoe Avenue and Wyatt Street in West Farms and trafficked considerable amounts of crack cocaine and heroin.

Nine of the defendants are charged with conspiracy to distribute the drugs. The gang’s alleged ringleader, Anibal Ramos, and another person, Anibal Soto, were previously arrested this summer on charges of kidnapping and torturing a man with hot iron.

All 10 face life in prison if convicted.
