10 Bronx schools face closures

THE BRONX - ? Ten Bronx schools are in danger of shutting down due to poor test scores and graduation rates.

Parents say lack of funding for programs and limited staff are to blame. At least a dozen parents were out protesting the proposed closures yesterday.

The Department of Education says if the schools are chosen to be shut down they will be closed at the beginning of the next school year. A six-month notice must be given to all students and parents in those schools.
