THE BRONX - Police are searching for a livery cab driver that left a boy in serious condition following a hit-and-run in Longwood.

The crash happened on Westchester Avenue near Fox Street just before 3 p.m.

Witnesses tell News 12 The Bronx that the boy was running across the intersection when he was struck by what looked like a livery cab. The NYPD confirms it is looking for a tan Lincoln Town Car that fled the scene.

The 11-year-old victim is at Lincoln Hospital.
