111 indicted citywide in alleged identity-theft ring

NEW YORK - More than 100 people across New York City have been indicted in connection to an alleged identity-theft and counterfeiting ring.

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says the criminals specialized in creating fake credit cards.

Police say the identity-theft ring targeted areas in New York City, and even some malls up in Westchester. It allegedly involved bank tellers, store employees and restaurant workers who skimmed customers' personal information.
