ORCHARD BEACH - Car lovers showed off their classic vehicles and raised money for families of Sept. 11 victims today at the Orchard Beach Classic Car and Motorcycle Show.

The annual event is in its 13th year of fundraising for the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association Widows' and Children's Fund. Hundreds of classic cars and bikes were on display.

Celebrities from the television show "The Dukes of Hazzard" and the 1983 car-themed horror movie "Christine" were featured at the event.

Organizers say this year's show is the best to date. They say they're hoping to top the money they raised last year, which was more than  $500,000.
