THE BRONX - Authorities have arrested 15 people in an undercover heroin trafficking bust in University Heights.

The defendants are accused of trying to sell undercover officers more than $26,000 worth of heroin at several apartments near Grand Avenue and East 184th Street.

Investigators say that officers uncovered a heroin packaging operation with glassine envelopes stamped with the brand name "Scarface." They also found powdered cocaine, crack and oxycodone, as well as a child in one of the apartments.

The suspects are facing a range of charges, including criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance, and unlawfully dealing with a child.
