THE BRONX - A castle resting on top of a hill at 4720 Grosvenor Ave. in Riverdale is now for sale.

The 5,100-square-foot 16th century home has six bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Alex Diacou, chairman of the nonprofit organization Yes The Bronx, bought the property for $1.8 million and spent $1.5 million in renovations over the course of two-and-a-half years.

The $3.6 million castle is fully equipped with turrets, hand-crafted floors and a grand chef's kitchen. While selling is a priority, Diacou says he wants the castle to serve as a tool for rebranding the borough and getting rid of negative stereotypes.

Yes The Bronx and Diacou are also creating a tower that will overlook the borough.
