The family of the 28-year-old victim says that he’s in the hospital on life support.

THE BRONX - One of two suspects has been arrested in a brutal beating on the Grand Concourse. 

According to police, 17-year-old Ruben Rodriguez and another man beat Luis Melendez with wooden poles early Wednesday. 

The family of Melendez says that the 28-year-old is on life support at Lincoln Hospital. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information on the second suspect to come forward.
