19 graduate from 'Best for Buildings' program

HUNTS POINT - Nineteen students from the Sustainable South Bronx?s ?Best for Buildings? program received their diplomas today.

The 14-week program trains students on how to make more energy-efficient buildings.

Participants attended classes and received training in solar-thermal energy, retrofit installation and green technology.

One graduate who lost his job during the recession says it was an opportunity to not only better himself, but also his community.

The ?Best for Buildings? program says it will begin another session of training in September.
