19-year-old Brownie Lopez turns himself in for fatal bodega assault of Oliver D'Orio

THE BRONX - A wanted teenager turned himself in to police for the deadly assault of a man last Friday. 

Authorities say 19-year-old Brownie Lopez surrendered at the 48th Precinct Sunday after he punched 37-year-old Oliver D'Orio during an argument at Guerrero Deli on Washington Avenue. 

According to investigators, D'Orio, an Italian man who lived in Switzerland, fell to the ground, hit his head and went into cardiac arrest. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital and pronounced dead. 

Lopez has been charged with misdemeanor assault.
