2 accused of breaking into delis, stealing cash in the Bronx

Police say two men are wanted for stealing nearly $1,000 from two Bronx businesses. It happened on May 6 and May 29 inside two delis.

THE BRONX - Police say two men are wanted for stealing nearly $1,000 from two Bronx businesses. 

It happened on May 6 and May 29 inside two delis.

Police say the men broke into the Brave Gourmet Deli on 712 Burke Ave. on May 6, and stole $600.

According to police, the men broke into the El Girasol Mini Market on 3214 White Plains Road on May 29, through a hole in the wall caused by nearby construction, and stole $300 and five checks.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
