2-alarm fire displaces Bronx family of 7 on East 175th Street

A two-alarm weekend fire has left one Bronx family without a home. The flames broke out in an East 175th Street apartment building Sunday afternoon.

THE BRONX - A two-alarm weekend fire has left one Bronx family without a home.

The flames broke out in an East 175th Street apartment building Sunday afternoon.

Officials say the blaze destroyed one unit on the sixth floor, but no injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is now helping the displaced family of seven.
