HIGHBRIDGE - More than 100 firefighters battled a two-alarm house fire this afternoon in the Highbridge section of the Bronx.

The fire broke out just before 3 p.m. at a two-story home on Summit Avenue.

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to bring the flames under control.

Emergency crews say one person was brought to Lincoln Hospital with minor injuries.

There is no word on how the fire began or the extent of the damage.
