The incident happened on Jan. 21, around 11 p.m. inside of an apartment building at 3029 Briggs Ave. in Bedford Park.

At least one of the three suspects used a machete to attack the man, severing his left pinky. Police say the man also suffered multiple cuts to his arms and legs.
