BROOKLYN - Two teens have been arrested in connection to a video that shows a 16-year-old boy being attacked.

The incident happened Sunday outside Luna Park on West 12th Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island.

Police say the 16 and 17-year-old were arrested for their alleged roles in the assault.

A 16-year-old can be seen getting kicked and punched by a large group while on the ground.

He was transported to the hospital in critical condition with a partially collapsed lung.

Sunday's incident was not isolated, and police say several other people were assaulted in the area.

Park officials issued a statement saying, "The Coney Island community is deeply disturbed by these events and we will continue working with the city to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment."

Police also responded to the amusement area Sunday for a report of shots fired. Although, police later confirmed the shots never occurred.

Investigators have identified three other people in the video and say at least eight others are wanted in connection to the assault.
