2 arrested for allegedly shooting at a cop

Cops have arrested two men who they say shot at a police officer in The Bronx yesterday. Police say the 24- and 18-year-old suspects fired

THE BRONX - Cops have arrested two men who they say shot at a police officer in The Bronx yesterday.

Police say the 24- and 18-year-old suspects fired at the officer, who was responding to a call on White Plains Road and East 219th Street.

Officials tracked the men down in a nearby alley. They say guns were recovered from both of them.

No officers were hurt in the shooting or arrests. Both suspects remain in police custody.
