2 Bronx students win college scholarships

THE BRONX - Two Bronx students won college scholarships, and they received their awards with a little help from the New York Jets.

Head Coach Todd Bowles presented the $5,000 scholarships to Emily Mora and Adrian Summers at the Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science.

The scholarship is given to one male and one female student each year.

To qualify, a student must play in the public school athlete league and excel in the classroom.
