THE BRONX - Two Bronx historical sites will be getting thousands of dollars in grant money after tying for third place in a preservation competition.

The New York Botanical Gardens will receive $250,000 to restore its rock garden, and the Bartow-Pell Mansion will get $155,000.

The Partners in Preservation contest let New Yorkers vote online for their favorite spots over the past few weeks.
