2 firefighters hurt in auto body shop blaze

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling an auto body shop blaze in The Bronx this morning. More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene

THE BRONX - Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling an auto body shop blaze in The Bronx this morning.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene at 3103 Edison Ave. The fire chief says they fought big flames and heavy smoke, but that it was under control in less than an hour.

Officials say the structure and contents of the shop were heavily damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
