The area is in between the Gouverneur Morris Houses and the Butler Houses; just blocks from Claremont Park.

When police arrived, they found a 27-year-old with a gunshot wound in the shoulder and a 22-year-old with a gunshot wound in the torso.

Both are expected to be OK.
