2 men wanted for assaulting cab driver Louis Molina

The New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers is offering a $5,000 reward for catching the suspects. (2/16/14)

THE BRONX - Police are looking for two men who allegedly assaulted and tried to rob a taxi driver last month.

The driver, Louis Molina, says on Jan. 22, the two men tried to rob him. When he refused to give them anything, Molina says they two passengers beat him unconscious as he was taking their suitcase out of the cab's trunk. 

Molina drove himself to the hospital after regaining consciousness. He says he had to undergo surgery to repair his nose.

At a press conference Sunday, the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers offered a $5,000 reward for the public's help in identifying the two suspects. Witnesses to the assault are also asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-557-TIPS.
