THE BRONX - Two new parks are now open in the Bronx near Yankee Stadium.

The two parks are across the street from each other on River Avenue and East 157th Street. Both of them were funded by $6 million given from the city in a promise to develop parkland following the building of the new stadium.

One of the parks is a concrete skate plaza including ramps, stairs, rails and ledges. The other park is a playground with play equipment, spray showers and a drinking fountain. Both will be open all year.
