2 NYPD officers assaulted at BX movie theater

THE BRONX - Two NYPD officers were attacked last night by a couple watching "The Dark Knight Rises" at a Bronx movie theater, according to officials. Authorities say the incident happened at the Concourse Plaza Multiplex. They say police were called in to remove a man and woman allegedly being disorderly, and that a minor struggle ensued. The male officer was cut on his head and finger and a female officer was hit on the head. The suspects have been identified as Moses Flores, 38, and Damaris Sanchez, 29. Both have been charged with assaulting a police officer, and have previous arrests on their records.
