THE BRONX - Two pedestrians were killed this morning during a hit-and-run crash on Bruckner Boulevard.

According to emergency medical officials, two men were found at the 138th Street intersection at around 4 a.m. and pronounced dead at the scene.

Residents in the area say the men were friends and day-laborers who were often seen in the neighborhood. Some said the men may have been homeless.

Police say they don't have a description of the vehicle involved at this time.
