MORRIS HEIGHTS - Police are looking for two suspects in the attempted robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store in Morris Heights.

Police say two men followed a customer inside the store and demanded money. When the customer refused, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shots were fired.

A police source says that prior to the shooting, a dispute between a group of young men broke out in the vicinity of the 7-Eleven store. Authorities are working to determine whether the incidents are connected.

There were no reported injuries following both incidents.
