THE BRONX - Two men suspected in the fatal shooting of a Bronx teenager last month are expected to be extradited back to New York today.
According to authorities, the suspects, who are being held on warrants in Rhode Island, are accused in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Alphonza Bryant at 1159 Fox St. in Morrisania on April 22.
Police say that both men, ages 21 and 23, live in the borough and are members of the Latin Kings gang. They believe the shooting was the result of a gang dispute, and that Bryant was an unintended target who got caught in the crossfire.
Members of the Bronx warrant squad will be transporting the men for a lineup.
