Two Bronx teens are dead after drowning in a waterfall and more than a dozen people were sent to the hospital including firefighters after trying

THE BRONX - Two Bronx teens are dead after drowning in a waterfall and more than a dozen people were sent to the hospital including firefighters after trying to rescue them.

David Luccioni, 17, and Chrystal Reyes, 15, were pulled out of the water at River Park near the Bronx Zoo. They were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital were they were pronounced dead.

Officials say the current took the two away making it hard for the teens to stay afloat.

Thirteen firefighters were taken to hospital for treatment following the rescue.
