THE BRONX - The NYPD is looking for two different suspects in connection with two separate chain necklace robberies this week.

On Tuesday, police say one suspect followed a 46-year-old woman into her Fordham building. Once inside, he allegedly snatched a chain from around her neck and demanded her purse and jewelry. Police say he also got away with money, earrings, rings and a bracelet.

On Monday after 5 p.m., police say another suspect ripped a gold chain off a 55-year-old woman's neck near 24-93 Jerome Ave. The suspect was last seen wearing a red-orange shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.

Anyone with information on either robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
