2 wounded in separate shootings in Concourse, Fordham Heights

THE BRONX - Two people were wounded in separate shootings in Concourse and Fordham Heights late Sunday night.

Authorities say one man was shot in his lower back outside of a recreation center at 1055 Jerome Ave., and was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center.

A teenager was also shot in front of a beauty salon on Creston Avenue. The 18-year-old was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital.

Both victims are expected to be OK.
