27-year-old man shot and killed in Williamsbridge

WILLIAMSBRIDGE - Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a 27-year-old man in Williamsbridge early this morning.

Police responded to a call at around 4 a.m. reporting a man shot on East Gun Hill Road. The victim, whose name has not been released, was found with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
