3 Bronx parks to get free Wi-Fi

THE BRONX - Beginning this summer, residents can take advantage of free Wi-Fi access at three parks in The Bronx.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced this afternoon that free Wi-Fi will become available at 20 city parks, courtesy of AT&T.

Bloomberg said the Department of Parks and Recreation partnered with AT&T to get the city connected for free for the next five years.

Visitors will be able to get Internet access using their wireless devices at Joyce Kilmer Park, Bronx River Park and Devoe Park.
