THE BRONX - Three people were killed and two others were injured in an overnight crash on the Major Deegan Expressway.

Police say 30-year-old Eduardo Nunez was driving erratically on the northbound side just after midnight when he lost control and hit a cement pillar near the Cross Bronx Expressway entrance.

First responders say they found five people pinned inside the overturned Dodge Charger. Nunez and two other people, 22-year-old Jose Henriquez and a 16-year-old, died.

The other two victims were rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition tonight.
