THE BRONX - Three young people from Mott Haven have been found safe after disappearing from a park near their homes.

Police say 10-year-old Chandler Roland, 15-year-old Amin Dawkins and 20-year-old Alberto Correa hadn't been seen since Saturday at the P.S. 18 playground on East 145th Street. All three live just across the street in the Patterson Houses.

Correa told police that he and his friends were close to home when a group of young men on bicycles approached them, chased them over the bridge into Manhattan and stole Correa's cell phone.

The trio says they walked back from Manhattan to the Bronx and later called their families when Dawkins found money in his bookbag.
