3 teen girls arrested, charged with robbery

THE BRONX - Three teenage girls are in custody in connection to a pair of violent robberies in Longwood.

Cops say 16-year-old Ajanique Legrand and two other teens targeted a 74-year-old on Sunday and took off with the victim's purse.

Police say they are also responsible for a second incident involving a 57-year-old woman on Monday.

It is not clear how much money or what valuables were snatched from the victims at this time.  The suspects are facing charges ranging from robbery to grand larceny.
