THE BRONX - Police are investigating Thursday how a 3-year-old boy ended up alone on a Bronx subway platform.

Police say the boy was found wandering the southbound No. 4 train platform at 183rd Street and Jerome Avenue. They say he had no visible injuries and was taken to Lincoln Hospital.

Police eventually located the boy's mom and took her in for questioning.
