$30,000 in media equipment stolen from BX school

(08/16/10) THE BRONX - Police are on the hunt tonight for the suspects they say stole 34 computers and 10 cameras from P.S. 35 in the Bronx.

The school's principal Graciela Navarro showed News 12 The Bronx her now-empty laptop cabinets.

Navarro said the school's media room used to house 24 laptops, 10 Mac computers and 10 digital cameras, but now only the mess the burglar's made remains.

The principal said it took the school nearly 3 years of saving to purchase all of the equipment and now they will have to endure a huge step backwards.
