Police say on Tuesday morning, parts were stolen from a newly donated van and another older one at the Jasa Senior Center in Throggs Neck.

Four men have been arrested in connection with stealing parts from vans used to transport senior citizens in the Bronx.

THROGGS NECK - Four men have been arrested in connection with stealing parts from vans used to transport senior citizens in the Bronx.

Police say on Tuesday morning, parts were stolen from a newly donated van and another older one at the Jasa Senior Center in Throggs Neck. Residents say this wasn’t the first time theft and vandalism have occurred in the area.

Police say the men are facing charges of auto stripping, criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools.

Senior center workers say despite the thefts, transportation service will not be disrupted.
