Police say they found burglar tools, saws and a catalytic converter inside their car during a traffic stop.
Although the vans are not drivable, employees at the senior center assured News 12 The Bronx that transportation won't be disrupted. They say they'll use livery car service or other vans from their other facilities.
Authorities say eight cars belonging to residents were also vandalized. Resident Luis Maldonado says the thefts and vandalizing are common.
It's not known yet if the suspects have a connection to the alleged vandalism of the other cars.
